Drug testing also is a common reason for customers wanting to purchase THC Free CBD oil; however, please continue reading to learn more about the associated risks taking THC Free CBD Oil.
Additionally, we third party verify our products, so you can rest assured that our products are as labeled. Moreover, If you are interested in viewing any of the lab results of our products, we would be happy to send you a Certificate of Analysis.
***Buyer Beware! While Broad Spectrum means that the THC was intentionally removed, the definition is loosely defined as to how much THC may be in a product. In this manner, companies may market their product as Broad Spectrum, but it does not mean that it is truly "THC Free."
We always recommend verifying their labs, but this can be tricky unless you know what to look for. That's why at Anavii Market we have done this homework for you! Products listed under this THC Free CBD Oil category are Broad Spectrum or CBD Isolate with THC levels no more than 0.01%. These products are as THC Free as one can find on the market!
What Is THC?
THC or more specifically Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol is the main intoxicating compound in cannabis sativa that gets users high or stoned. Full Spectrum CBD contains trace amounts of CBD. However, THC Free CBD Oil like Broad Spectrum CBD Oil or CBD isolate does not contain detectable* amounts of THC.
What is CBD?
CBD or Cannabidiol is the main compound in CBD Hemp Oil. CBD can come in many forms, but the most common is Full Spectrum CBD Oil. Full Spectrum CBD Oil contains trace amounts of THC. On the other hand, Broad-Spectrum CBD oil does not contain any detectable* amounts of THC.
 *detectable at 0.01% THC
Is THC Free CBD Oil Really THC Free?Â
It is important to note that when companies specify their product is THC free CBD oil, they mean that their product is THC free CBD oil to a non-detectible concentration of 0.01%.
No products are guaranteed to be truly "THC FREE" because instrumentation that measures for these concentrations cannot realistically measure to zero.
There is always some minute trace that could cause the definition to not actually mean 0.000 and beyond.  Â
What is THC Free CBD Oil?
So, what is THC Free CBD Oil? There are two kinds of THC Free CBD Oil:
1.) CBD Isolate
2.) Broad Spectrum CBD Oil
We always recommend Full Spectrum CBD oil products to our customers because of the minor cannabinoids and terpenes that full spectrum CBD contains. In combination this creates an entourage effect that optimizes your experience. However, because full spectrum CBD oil contains trace amounts of THC, it might not always be the best choice for those subject to drug testing or those concerned about ingesting THC.
Broad Spectrum CBD Oil
Because not everyone likes THC, we carry a line of THC Free CBD products that are considered Broad Spectrum or CBD isolate.Â
The term Broad Spectrum CBD Oil means that the THC has been distilled, or removed, from the extract leaving only CBD and other minor cannabinoids.
These other minor cannabinoids normally include CBDV, a variation of CBD. If the extractor is talented the product may also include cannabinoids like CBG, CBN, and CBC.
While Full Spectrum CBD Oil is superior to Broad Spectrum THC Free CBD Oil due to its ability to maintain what are called the "acid" or "raw" cannabinoids like CBDA, as well as maintain the plant material in its purest form, without intentionally removing anything through refinement; Broad Spectrum CBD Oil is superior to CBD Isolate. This superiority is because Broad Spectrum CBD Oil also still maintains other plant compounds that, like Full Spectrum CBD Oil, help initiate the entourage effect. These compounds include terpenes and flavonoids. These terpenes and flavonoids, particularly terpenes have been touted to improve bioavailability or absorption in the body.Â
Â
CBD Isolate - THC Free CBD Oil
In addition to Broad Spectrum THC Free CBD Oil, another THC Free CBD Oil includes CBD isolate. The difference between Broad Spectrum THC Free CBD Oil and CBD Isolate is that CBD Isolate is 99%+ pure CBD. This means products using CBD Isolate do not contain other beneficial minor cannabinoids like CBN, CBG, and CBC. Moreover, CBD isolate doesn’t contain the terpenes that a full spectrum or a broad-spectrum CBD product contains. These terpenes and other plant compounds like flavonoids are stripped out of the THC Free CBD isolate.Â
By comparison when formulating with CBD isolate, the CBD input is a crystalline powder, much like sugar. Conversely Broad Spectrum THC Free CBD Oil is a golden oil that is thick and stick that when heated has a viscosity similar to hot honey. When in a cooled state the Broad Spectrum THC Free CBD Oil hardens and begins to crystallize in a solid rock form.Â
CBD isolate is a highly refined THC free CBD oil product that can help those who may have concerns about interactions with other drugs or drug testing. It is worth noting though that CBD isolate is the least bioavailable form of ingesting CBD oil. To improve bioavailability, or absorption, please remember to take your CBD isolate, or any THC free CBD oil or full spectrum CBD oil with a high fat snack, like peanut butter, or after a meal. This will improve experience!
THC Free CBD Oil and Drug Testing
Although we don't ever say with certainty that you will pass a drug testing when taking CBD isolate versus a THC free CBD oil like broad spectrum, or a full spectrum CBD oil, these products may reduce your risk. However, there still is always risk depending varying factors including the type of drug test you are taking, what the drug test is examining (some look for cannabinoids in general, not just THC, therefore CBD isolate or THC free CBD oil would trigger a positive test). It also depends on you! Things like your metabolism, weight, cannabinoid tolerance and more all increase or decrease your risk.Â
